Accessibility Statement

Kensington Financial Associates wants everyone to be able to use kensingtonfa.com, including people with disabilities. We design and build this website with accessibility in mind, and we keep improving it.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), explain how to make web content easier to use for people with a wide range of disabilities.

We believe this website partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conforms means some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. We are working on those parts and welcome your feedback.

• Pages use real headings and landmarks, so screen reader and keyboard users can move around quickly.
• A "Skip to main content" link lets keyboard users go straight past the menu.
• Meaningful images have text alternatives.
• Links, buttons and form fields can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
• Form fields, including those in our secure loan application, have labels, and errors are explained in text.
• Animations respect the "reduce motion" setting on your device.
• Pages still work when you zoom to 200% or enlarge text in your browser.
• We test key pages with automated tools and by hand with a keyboard.

This site includes an optional accessibility menu, opened with the Accessibility button on the left edge of the screen. It lets you enlarge text, add spacing, switch to a more readable font, change contrast or color saturation, highlight links and headings, use a reading guide, stop animations, enlarge the cursor, strengthen focus outlines, have text read aloud, and jump to any section of the page.

Your choices are saved only in your browser on this device. We do not collect them. The menu is a convenience: it is not how this site meets accessibility standards, and it does not replace the screen reader, magnifier or other assistive technology you already use.

• Zoom in or out with Ctrl and + / - (Cmd on a Mac).
• Reader view in Safari, Firefox and Edge shows a page as plain, resizable text.
• Your device's settings can enlarge text, increase contrast, reduce motion, or turn on a screen reader such as VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA or JAWS.

Some content and tools on this site come from other companies, such as the client login portal and the chat assistant. We choose accessible providers where we can, but we can't fully control their content. If any of it doesn't work for you, contact us and we'll help another way.

Some small gray text and gold accent text does not yet have enough color contrast against its background. We are reviewing these colors. In the meantime, the Contrast setting in the accessibility menu or your browser's zoom can make this text easier to read.

This site is designed to work with recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox, and with common screen readers including VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS.
